About Us

Established by a group of friends who knew each other from National Service and travelled together since then, this hostel opened its doors on the 1st of February 2005.
Here, we go by the motto of "Living On Your Satisfaction" and aspire to assist travelers and backpackers touring or passing through Singapore, providing comfortable lodging at comfortable prices. We want to help in whatever way we can to make traveling a joy for our guests and aim to make your stay with us a comfortable one. So do let us know how else we can make things better at The Hive@Boon Keng; It is our desire to continuously improve our service standard and hostel quality.
Your Lounge
Our lounge is where guests sit around to take their breakfast each morning or chill in the evenings. It is fully air-conditioned at night, and you can write your diaries in comfort, watch free cable television at the tv area or hangout with your mates or new found friends. Our friendly staff are also nearby at the reception counter, which opens from 0730-0000hrs everyday, if you need any assistance.
Toilets & Showers
We have ample toilet and bath facilities to be shared among all our guests. These communal facilities are brightly lit and cleaned by a cleaning lady in the mornings and the afternoons. We also offer laundry services and towels for our guests at a small nominal fee just to help us defray our costs.
Breakfast

This is where we provide free breakfast each morning from 0730-1030hrs for our guests. Breakfast is self-help style, eat your fill of toast with jam, cereal with milk, coffee or tea before you embark on your day's exciting tour of Singapore but do wash up after you're done. The sink's just round the corner!
Other Facilities
Our hostel has free common internet terminals and if occupied, there is the option of surfing the internet in the comforts of your own bed over our free WI-FI access in your rooms. We also have printing, scanning and copying services readily available at the counter, just ask the counter staff! For security purposes, your hostel is accessible via security card access so guests can come in/out at any time and there is no curfew.
